Scrap MS Mexico, S. de R. L., de C.V. (SMS de Mexico), Celaya, MX, is a joint venture of three major North American scrap management companies that specialize in buying, transporting, processing and marketing ferrous, non-ferrous, plastics, and other recyclable items.
These companies have come together as one to better serve manufacturing companies in Mexico in providing industrial recycling solutions for today’s challenges. The combination of the three companies provides an increased degree of professionalism, expertise, knowledge and a coast-to-coast reach in technology, management, marketing, processing and handling of a full range of recyclable materials – steel and metals, plastics, paper, packaging, wood and e-waste.
SMS de Mexico is a full-service recycling company specializing in the creation of customized recycling programs designed on a plant-by-plant basis, including demanufacturing as needed.
Demanufacturing is taking fully or partially assembled units, and taking them apart to their individual elemental component(s), sorted and properly recycled. Demanufacturing is rarely done. Usually, without demanufacturing, any items that have more than one elemental component is sent to out to landfills, as trash, or possibly burnt for fuel. Therefore our demanufacturing process is also good for the environment.
